To carry out the surveillance, investigation and evaluation of health risk factors in public places, establish the risk assessment methods and evaluation indices with the population health in public places taken as the core, build the public information consultation and exchange platform that matches with the surveillance network for health hazard factors in public places, compile technical and evaluation guidelines associated with the surveillance of health risk factors in public places and formulate sanitary standards for health risk factors in public places.

In 2016, health risk factor surveillance sites in public places have been established throughout 31 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as the construction of monitoring data reporting platform and surveillance network has been preliminarily completed.
